Following a year’s worth of restoration work, Pinehurst No. 2 is reintroduced to the world. Play has been open on the 2014 host to the US Open and US Women’s Open for a little while, but that was a soft open. And that’s just what the club was trying to achieve – redefining the Ross masterpiece for the 21st century with a view backward to what made this place a beacon of golf excellence from beneath the towering trees of Pinehurst.
